Ben Spies is ranked fourth after a time of 2 minutes 01.993 seconds. While the Ducati rider Casey Stoner completed the top five positions with a time of 2 minutes 2.023 seconds.
The fate of less fortunate received by Valentino Rossi. Although time lead in the first free practice session, Yamaha teammate Lorenzo on it instead scattered in sixth position after a record time of 2 minutes 0.30 seconds.
