Free Practice I Indianapolis MotoGP 2009: Pedrosa Fastest in Wet Track

California - Dani Pedrosa open the Indianapolis MotoGP practice session with good results. Honda has become the fastest after beating Nicky Hayden and Valentino Rossi.

Pedrosa became the fastest drivers in free practice I, Saturday (29/8/2009) early morning pm. This Spaniard's best lap time record, ie, 1 minute 51.507 seconds at the Indianapolis track, wet after a rain.

He beat Hayden in the second position with a 0.155-second advantage. Meanwhile, Yamaha racer Valentino Rossi had to settle in third position with a time 1:51.814 seconds.

Meanwhile team mate Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo, was in fourth position. Alex De Angelis (Honda) and James Toseland (Yamaha) in the first practice session was to fill the fifth and sixth positions.

Suzuki racer Loris Capirossi (Suzuki), Colin Edwards (Yamaha) and Andrea Dovizioso (Honda) in the position of seventh, eighth, and ninth. While Marco Melandri (Kawasaki) complete the top ten in this session.
